Hey folks - Erin here!

I just wanted to let you know that I have entirely remade the Erindale Toolkit from scratch for Blender 3.0 with the new Fields system (replacing the attributes we knew from 2.93).

The new pack is also bringing a whole load of other nodes to the table so instead of 44, as in v1.1, we now have 89 nodes sorted into seven menu categories (Curves, Falloff, Fields, Generators, Mapping, Masks, Utilities).

The sky is the limit!

I've not had a chance to sit down with the documentation and update that so right now you will be flying blind. Shout if you have any questions or you can always reach me on Twitter (@erindale_xyz) or on Discord (Server Invite).

I was holding off making this post until I'd done the documentation but I kept adding new nodes and suddenly, Nodevember is here!

Now, I know the new fields system is probably new to a lot of you with it only having been in Alpha and recently Beta builds of Blender so I've made a 6 part series on YouTube to serve as a bit of a primer. In that we cover what fields are and how the node tree is actually computing data, several of the key (but initially confusing) nodes such as Attribute Capture and Raycast, as well as going through a displacement and scattering setup.

I really hope you'll give the new system a try as it's so powerful and, once you're used to the workflow of joining nodes visually instead of by writing attributes, it's so much easier to work with!

If you want to grab the update to the toolkit, make sure that you are working with one of the most recent builds of Blender (at least 3.0 beta) to make sure you're not missing any nodes. Remove the old version and install the new one just like any add-on!
