This course was something that I had wanted to release in the summer but Geometry Nodes just wasn't quite there and I wanted to make sure that the content we covered here was going to be valuable and applicable in the longer term.

I know some people were a little disappointed that the beginner course was "just" a beginner course, especially coming from my other content on YouTube. This course stands to fill that gap with 30+ lessons getting deep into scalable workflows.

In this course you'll get to learn about proper mesh generation with Geometry Nodes. We'll cover UV unwrapping, controlling splines with Empties, using SDFs to create complex organic forms. We'll learn to use the shortest path nodes to create a dense root structure, how to use the accumulate field nodes for linear packing. Along the way we're going to also create a whole host of node group assets to start you off on your own toolbox!

Who's the course for?

You don't need to be an advanced procedural artist to take this course. This course has been designed for anyone who's interested in getting deeper into geometry nodes. I would recommend having taken the beginner course first as it lays a lot of the foundations that we won't be lingering on in this advanced course. I am still walking through all the steps and explaining the workflow in full so you won't fall behind. There is a lot we cover throughout the exercise and I think you'll really enjoy it!
