It's been a while since I've reached out - I hope you're doing well! We're deep into summer here in the north of England and after many weeks of heat, the rain has started to fall once more. In lieu of the sun, I have an exciting update!

I wanted to let you know that I've just launched a new course series for Blender 3.6 called Mastering Simulation Nodes. This series is made of 3 courses which can be purchased individually or together as a bundle and they cover a range of simulation nodes workflows from introducing the new tools, applying forces, computing collisions, creating flocking algorithms, all the way to full erosion simulation.

I first talked to people about my vision for a specialised platform for technical art education back at BCon22 last year. I got to meet folk like Josh Gambrell of BlenderBros and Jonathan Lampel of CGCookie who are super inspiring community leaders. It's taken 9 months to get from finding that dream to realising it here today. It has not been a solo effort to get here and I want to thank everyone who's helped me directly (designing logos, building websites, editing content) but also indirectly - by supporting my work, encouraging me to create content, inspiring me to build something meaningful.

I'm at risk of becoming sentimental here. This is a passion project become reality.

I want to leave you with the moment that triggered my ambitions in technical art-

During my final year of university (interior design) I was writing my thesis on the effects of computational process on the value of design in the built environment. When presenting my early thoughts to a panel of tutors, one of them spoke up and said words to the effect "you can always tell when something is procedural because it's just cold". This was not my thought at all and it has since become my mission to bring others to know the joy of proceduralism.
